Yavapai Community College took a monumental part of their mission to create a top class Viticulture Program - they planted their first acre of vineyards. The College's Viticulture Program will be the first in the state and something of only several in the country. This first acre of planting was funded by Merkin Vineyards Green Management who will work alongside with staff and students to nurture the vines.
